Dried flower is a very high-value-added sector of China’s floral industry. Data from the Ministry of Agriculture of PRC suggests that there are over 440,000 sq.m of farmlands in China dedicated to the production of dried flower materials, annually reaping sales of over RMB 117 million, of which at least USD 11 million is contributed by exports. Gugangdong, Yunnan, and Beijing stand out as 3 of the biggest production and trade clusters of dried flowers.
