As one of the countries in the world, China is renowned as the "Motherland of World's Horticulture" with richest resources in wild flowers and floriculture plants. Nowadays, China has become one of the largest flower growing and consuming countries in the world. In 2010, China's flower production area reached to 9,180million square meters, and the total sales revenue was RMB 86.2 billion, which showed a benign growth.
With the development of Chinese national economy and the improvement of people's living standard, residents' demand for flowers and nursery stock have penetrated into every corner of people's lives, from parks to roads, or from residential sub-districts to shopping malls. About GBGE
In 2014, covering an area of 40,000 square meters, GBGE 2014 and concurrent events attracted a larger number of professional and international visitors about 32,135 visitors in total, including 2,316 coming from over 60 foreign countries and territories, such as Germany, France, Russia, India, Australia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and so forth. In accordance with exhibitor feedback, about 83.2% exhibitors achieved the desired results, and considered the show more professional than previous editions.
